# Move listings to another account on the same marketplace

> Use Move to take a listing down on one account and put it up on another account of the same marketplace, or restore listings from an account you no longer use.

Select the items on the Inventory page and click **Move**, choose the marketplace and the destination account, and confirm. Treecat takes each listed item down on its current account and puts it up on the destination, and emails you when it finishes. You need at least two signed-in accounts on that marketplace.

## Move listings

1. On the Inventory page, select the items. To move one item, you can also open it and click **Move** in its action bar.
2. Click **Move** in the action bar.
3. Pick the platform. Only platforms where the selected items have listings are shown.
4. Review where the items are now and choose the destination account.
5. Choose what should happen to listed items:
   - **Delist here and list on the destination** (default): each listed item is taken down on its current account and put up on the destination. If a delist fails, that item stays where it is.
   - **Delist here and keep unlisted on the destination**: the item is taken down and attached to the destination account, but not listed. Review or reprice it first, then list it with the normal List action.
6. Confirm. Treecat emails you when the move finishes.

Items that are not listed anywhere are moved inside Treecat only.

If you have only one signed-in account on that marketplace, the dialog says the items can't be moved and the Move button stays disabled. Connect and sign in to the second account first; see [Manage marketplace accounts](https://wiki.treecat.io/manage-marketplace-accounts).

> **Tip:** If you selected everything with Select all, filter by account first so you move exactly the items you mean to.

## What if the old account is disconnected or removed?

If the current account is disconnected or no longer exists, nothing changes on the marketplace. Treecat re-attaches the listings to the destination inside Treecat and then checks them there: a listing that is still live stays listed, and one that has ended or is gone becomes ready to list.

If you still use the old account, reconnect it first so Treecat can take the listing down there. If you don't, end the listing on the marketplace yourself or remove the account, so the same item isn't live in two places.

## Do eBay policies move with the listing?

Shipping and other eBay business policies move with the listing. If the destination account uses different policies, open the item, choose the right policy on the eBay tab, save and click **Update**.

## Can one item be listed on two accounts of the same marketplace?

No. A single inventory item cannot be listed on two accounts of the same marketplace at once.

## Can I use Move to restore listings from an old store?

Yes. Treecat keeps your listing information, including photos and descriptions, even when a listing ends or an account is no longer active. Move can put those listings up on another account of the same marketplace.

## Which marketplaces support Move?

Move works between accounts of the same marketplace. It is not available for WooCommerce, because each store has its own product ids and categories.
