Treecat Help
Account and data

Delete your account or start over

Use Settings → Profile to purge your Treecat data and start fresh, or delete your account. Your live marketplace listings are not touched either way.

Go to Settings → Profile and scroll to Danger zone. Purge all data permanently erases your Treecat data and disconnects your marketplaces, so you can reconnect and re-import from scratch. Delete account queues your account for deletion; outstanding usage is still billed. Your live marketplace listings stay up either way.

Start over: purge your data

  1. Open Settings → Profile and find Danger zone.
  2. Next to Purge all data, click Purge data.
  3. Read the confirmation and click Yes, purge everything.

This permanently erases your inventory records, automations and account data from Treecat, and disconnects your marketplace accounts. It cannot be undone, and you are signed out right away.

Afterwards you can sign in again, connect your marketplaces and import to start fresh. Treecat re-imports everything that is still live on your marketplaces.

Delete your account

  1. Open Settings → Profile and find Danger zone.
  2. Click Delete account and confirm.

Your account deletion is queued and any outstanding usage is billed. You are signed out immediately, and this cannot be undone.

What happens to my listings?

Your live listings are not touched. Anything currently listed on eBay, Mercari, Poshmark or your other marketplaces stays up and stays yours; you manage it directly on those sites from then on.

If you want listings taken down, delist them from your Treecat inventory before purging or deleting. Select them on the Inventory page and use Delist, or Archive / Delete with the delist option ticked. See Archive or delete items.

If you reconnect a marketplace later, Treecat re-imports the listings that are still live there.

Should I purge to fix a problem?

Usually not. Purging removes your matches, schedules and history. For most problems, a Full import, Fix Duplicates or Reconnect is enough. If you are unsure, contact Treecat support first.

Does Treecat keep a backup of my listings?

Yes. Treecat keeps your listing information, including photos and descriptions, even when a listing ends or an account is no longer active, at no charge. There is no fee unless a managed item sells. This is useful if you take a store offline for a while, and Move can restore listings to another account.

Purging or deleting your account removes that backup too.

I'm a guest. How do I leave?

Guests don't delete the store; they leave it. On Settings → Profile, use Discontinue guest access, or Leave team on Settings → Team. See Guest accounts and teams.
