Schedule listings and reprice automatically
List items on a future date or spread a batch over several dates, and change prices now, on a date or on a repeating schedule with a stop price.
When you list items you can choose On a date or Spread over dates, and Treecat lists them at 9:00 AM your time on their date. To change prices, use ⋯ → Reprice (or Reprice on the item page) to set a price or change it by an amount or percentage, now, on a date, or every few days. Follow both under Inventory → Scheduled Actions.
Scheduled listing
- Select one or more items in Inventory (or open one item) and choose List.
- Under When, pick On a date, or Spread over dates to split the selection evenly between a start and an end date, every few days.
- Confirm. Items list at 9:00 AM your time on their date.
- Follow them under Inventory → Scheduled Actions: stop, start or cancel a group and see each item's result.
An item that is already listed, archived, or whose marketplace is disconnected on its day is skipped, and you get an email with the reason. Starting a stopped group lists right away anything whose date has already passed.
Repricing
- Select listed items in Inventory and choose ⋯ → Reprice, or open one item and choose Reprice.
- Pick the stores, then Set a price, or Change by an amount or a percentage (lower or raise). Tick End every price in to keep the cents fixed, for example .99.
- Under When, choose Now, On a date, or Repeat every few days.
- A repeating decrease stops at a percentage below the original price or at a minimum price.
- A repeating increase stops at a maximum price.
Each step starts from the price the listing has on that day, on each store, and is sent to the live listing. The step that would cross the stop line is not taken. Items that sell, are delisted or archived stop being repriced. Follow every change under Inventory → Scheduled Actions.
Where do I manage scheduled actions?
Inventory → Scheduled Actions lists every scheduled listing, repricing and relist schedule. From there you can stop, start, edit or cancel them, and see each item's result. An item's own Scheduled tab shows the schedules for that item.
Do scheduled actions need the agent?
For Poshmark, Mercari, Whatnot, Facebook Marketplace and Etsy, yes: the computer running the Treecat agent must be on when the action is due. See The agent keeps going offline.
