Delist and relist, scheduled relisting and Poshmark closet sharing

Refresh listings with Relist now or a relist schedule, manage schedules in Scheduled Actions, and share your Poshmark closet on a schedule.

Select listed items, click Relist, choose the stores and pick Relist now for a one-time refresh, or Keep relisting on a schedule with a frequency in days (30 by default; at least 61 days on Poshmark and 14 on Facebook Marketplace). Poshmark closet sharing is under Closet Share → New schedule, sharing to followers or a party, with a daily share cap across your closets.

Relist now or on a schedule

  1. Select one or more listed items in Inventory and click Relist (the Delist & relist dialog).
  2. Tick the stores. The dialog shows how many listings are affected on each.
  3. Choose what should happen there:
    • Relist now: takes each listing down and puts it back up, once, right away.
    • Keep relisting on a schedule: repeats automatically every so many days. Set the days, or click Different rhythm per store to set each store separately. Tick Relist now as well to run the first cycle right away.
    • Stop relisting: removes the relist schedule from these listings.
  4. Click the button at the bottom: Relist now, Schedule relist, Schedule & relist now or Stop relisting.

You do not need to schedule anything: choosing only Relist now does a one-time refresh. After a relist, the listing date in Treecat updates to the new date.

If some of the selected listings already have a schedule, the dialog asks whether to Leave them as they are (the default; nothing is overwritten silently) or Replace their schedule.

Manage every schedule under Inventory → Scheduled Actions: stop, start, edit the frequency or cancel. Removing a schedule never touches the listing.

Warning: Marketplaces limit how often you relist. Treecat enforces minimums of 61 days on Poshmark and 14 days on Facebook Marketplace, and at most 365 days. eBay may charge insertion fees for new listings. Relist in small batches rather than your whole inventory at once. Expand the limits section in the dialog to review each marketplace's rules before you apply.

For a step-by-step plan to refresh a large, old inventory, see Refresh your oldest listings.

Why do I see "Agent offline" when I relist?

Delist and relist on Poshmark, Mercari, Whatnot, Facebook Marketplace and Etsy need the Treecat agent. While it is offline, Relist now is skipped on those marketplaces, but a schedule you set is still saved. Open the agent, bring it online and try again. eBay, Amazon and Walmart do not need it. See The agent keeps going offline.

Scheduled listing

You can also list items on a future date, or spread a batch over several dates. See Schedule listings and reprice automatically.

Repricing

To change prices now, on a date or on a repeating schedule, see Schedule listings and reprice automatically.

Poshmark closet sharing

  1. Open Closet Share (under Tools in the Inventory sidebar) and click New schedule.
  2. Choose the closet and the audience (Followers or a Party) and when to share.
  3. Watch Recent activity. Pause or reorder schedules anytime.

Treecat caps shares across all your closets over a rolling 24 hours to stay within Poshmark's limits. Sharing runs through the Treecat agent, so the computer running it must be on.

If Poshmark asks you to verify your account, sign in to Poshmark in a normal browser on the agent's computer, complete the check, reconnect in Treecat and turn the schedule back on. See Reconnect a marketplace.

Frequently asked questions

Are relisting and sharing billed separately?

No. They make the item's sale billable, but a sale is only ever charged once. If the item was also crosslisted, there is no extra charge.

Should I use eBay's "End item / Sell similar" instead?

No. It creates duplicates in Treecat. Use Treecat's Relist, which keeps track of the new listing id and your crosslinks. See Fix duplicate items.
